Occupation: Courier, Negotiator, and Information BrokerTo a random spectator who observes her in public, L'sonjha seems quite guarded - her turquiose eyes and red-furred ears are constantly scanning the crowds she is in, perceptive to her surroundings, while seldom approaching others on her own.If someone were to strike up a conversation with her, they would find her to be quite friendly and affable, albeit a bit reserved. Quite the attentive listener, L'sonjha genuinely cares about what people say; not just listening to the words of the conversation, but drawing conclusions from tone and body language as well. When something truly piques her interest, she makes it known with a barrage of questions; those willing to humor her will find her quick to warm.While L'sonjha does have an assortment of outfits for different occasions, almost all outfits prioritize comfort and easy of maneuverability - the openness allows for her to deftly navigate around both the crowds and the battlefield.Her current residence is in a modest residential district of Ul'dah, the city she was raised in. Her abode is always open as a respite and sanctum for any of her friends, though those wishing to make her acquaintance without an appointment may find the doors locked.

Story at a Glance...

L'sonjha has some Sharlayan ancestry - not sure how much, as she was separated from her birth family at a young age. Her adoptive parents do not know the extent as well, only that for some reason, they were forced to flee.The Seeker has lived in Ul'dah for most her life, was adopted by a family specializing in economic dealmaking and negotiation between members of the Ul'dah Syndicate (an external third party that provided many services). While her family was kind to her, they viewed her to be more of an asset as an apprentice than a daughter - this resulted in her gaining skills as a jack-of-all-trades, with a specific focus of negotiating between parties. As such, L'sonjha also is quite adept at gathering information via conversation or stealth; she was required to learn the nuances of bureacracy and subtlety, working as a dancer/courier between many influential groups and houses with Ul'dah.While experimenting on her own, a party of Arcanists being escorted by a Thaumaturge noted L'sonjha's aptitude for the arcane, and offered her the chance to learn with them. Eager to leave the plutocracy of Ul'dah, she beseeched her patron family to join the Arcanist's guild in Limsa. Noting that having an arbitrator that could defend themself was a blessing, her adoptive family allowed the Miqo'te to go, with the request that she run errands by mail for their business as needed.During the years of her tuielage in Limsa, L'sonjha's started operating independently from her, taking on jobs of her own to sate her own curiosity. Over the course of her jobs and travels, she has become somewhat of a frequent face at Idyllshire, often visiting to the House of Splendor, both as a contractor and a customer.Apart from deciphering tomes and helping with the reconstruction efforts of Idyllshire, L'sonjha currently is working on mastering several various combat styles, as well as various crafting commissions to improve her restoration skills (alongside earning some gil). She is also trying to increase her standing with the beast tribes and within the Grand Companies of Eorzea - she believes both of those could provide invaluable information and leads that others may not have access to.

If people want to play as the WoL, great! But it's not necessarily something I'm interested in roleplaying with, at least to start. If we get to know each other and want to RP as or DM for a WoL (either L'sonjha or your character as the WoL), I'm potentially open to that, but not looking for that to be the focus to start.

L'sonjha has been working more independently from her adoptive family, seeking information on all things that may be purchasable - rumors regarding treasures, leaders, tensions between factions, Allag artifacts, Mhachian magicks... the list goes on. Perhaps your character wishes to purchase something specific, or trade information regarding certain issues? Or maybe you are on the flipside, and want to distribute some falsehoods as rumors, and want her assistance to do so? Anything's purchasable, either by coin or by knowledge.Tomestones are Knowledge
And what better way to learn things others do not than the Tomestomes of the Allag Empire? As L'sonjha has learned, Allagan Tomestones provide documentation on anything and everything - from seemingly mundane things such as catalogues of fauna to advanced aetherical manipulation techniques. And so L'sonjha has become both a customer and supplier for Rowena's House of Splendors, as well as a modest benefactor to Garlond Ironworks. Possibly, your character has received a contract from her to purchase or to furnish Allagan Tomestones? This could be a one-time engagement and foray, such as an archaeological expedition into some ruins, or this could blossom into a more longstanding agreement. If these forays have a chance at retrieving working Allagan tech, that'll definitely pique L'sonjha's interest - she'd be hard pressed to miss a chance to tinker with those.A Courier and Negotiator
Perhaps your character has seen L'sonjha from earlier, when she worked as an emissary between high ranking members of society in Ul'dah, an arcanist working to guide ships in Limsa Lominsa, or even when she imposed requests towards the Grand Companies. Maybe you require her services, delivering messages to or brokering deals with other influential members of society, or need a specific set of goods procured? L'sonjha can wear many hats to fulfill a request, or at the very least point you to a certain someone who can.Underworld Brokerage
As an information broker that has the ability to foray out in the field, L'sonjha does have a certain subset of clientele that often require the procurement supplies and information of questionable legality. While the Seeker does seem to have her own credo on which jobs she accepts, she has the ability to get her hands a bit dirty... for the right price, of course.Sharlayan and Idyllshire
While originally from Sharalayan, L'sonjha hasn't had the opportunity to truly explore and investigate the area or the culture. Perhaps you know of the Rhel family, and what has become of them? Anything about the past that can help lead her to her blood family would be appreciated! Or perhaps you've seen her around Idyllshire, helping various members of the community in reclaiming the old city of Sharlayan (while also dealing with Rowena along the way)? You could've assisted in the rebuilding efforts and have met her that way, or perhaps just noticed her as she drops by the various establishments in the area.Artifact Restoration
L'sonjha expansive experience in ancient technology and artifacts have allowed her to gain a fair understanding of how to properly restore old artifacts, ranging from Allagan terminals to Ampadori Beacons. If you had a defunct piece of magical equipment you wish to see restored, L'sonjha would be eager to help!
